posting interesting blogs to the website, these are just a few of the names you can expect to run into over the course of your time on the Network.
Seeing as they are essentially the Network’s very first members, it would seem that introductions are in order. Feel free to take a second and get to know your fellow branding and marketing enthusiasts.
Gaëtan Fraikin | Network ChiefGaëtan is a co-founder of the Life Science Branding & Marketing Network. He is internationally recognized for his branding strategy expertise, and critical mind – always challenging dogmas and preconceived ideas. He uniquely masters in-depth strategic thinking and unconventional creative approaches, a model he extended to Audacity, turning it into a leader in true strategic branding.
Besides running the Network, Gaetan also heads Audacity, a Life Science Branding agency. Gaëtan held executive positions in Belgium, France and in the US with technology and consulting leaders, including KPMG Consulting, now Bearing Point. Gaëtan also serves on the Board of the San Diego chapter of the American Advertising Federation (Ad Club). Gaëtan has experience in the areas of life sciences and technology marketing strategy, strategic branding, creative directing and strategic management. Gaëtan is also proud to teach a class on Branding at San Diego State University (SDSU). He received his degree in management engineering from H.E.C. in Belgium.
Jeremy Arceneaux | Head of EditorialJeremy is the Head of Editorial for the Life Science Branding and Marketing Network. He is a Princeton University graduate, and holds a BA in Sociology. Among his duties, he handles most of the Network’s communications efforts across various social media platforms and is a regular contributor to the blog section of the LSBMN website.
Ramya Maddilate | Head of Science AdvisoryRamya is the Head of Science Advisory for the Life Science Branding and Marketing Network. Prior to taking up her role here at LSBMN, Ramya worked as Consumer Genomics Marketing intern at Illumina and Graduate Student Consultant for Life Technologies. She holds a Master in Business of Biosciences degree from the Keck Graduate Institute of Applied Life Sciences and a Bachelors in Bioinformatics. As Head of Science Advisory, Ramya excels at applying her experience in life sciences markets to help guide Network conversations while providing a unique perspective, knowledge and technical understanding of the subject matter at hand. Additionally, she is the go-to person for direction on all market intelligence and educational content for the university section of the LSBMN website.
Heather Skaljac | Head of Member RelationsHeather heads Member Relations for the Network. As part of her role, she is responsible for overseeing all levels of member engagement including the handling of job submissions, event planning and ensuring and optimal experience for all members. She has had previous experience in marketing and communications working at various international organizations and graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a major in Communication.
